March 23, 2020 - COVID-19 Response and the PrecISE Research Study
Update April 13, 2020: PrecISE will begin recruitment when possible - please check this page for updates.
Safety is our number one priority, for patients, their families, and our team members who work on all aspects of PrecISE. With the response worldwide to the coronavirus (COVID-19), we are acting to ensure the safety of everyone involved in the study.
PrecISE is pausing all recruitment activities and any in-person study visits beginning March 9, 2020 for one month throughout the network. This includes over 30 sites in the US, as well as the UK and Canada. After that time, we will re-assess the status of the network.
We have been in close communication with the National Institutes of Health and our safety experts, and will continue working together to assess this situation.
If you are a patient with any appointments scheduled, the local study location you were working with will be in touch for rescheduling and related communications.
