March 23, 2020 - COVID-19 Response and the PrecISE Research Study

Update: July 16, 2020

Safety is our number one priority, for patients, their families, and our team members who work on all aspects of PrecISE. In response to the coronavirus (COVID-19), we paused recruitment on March 9, 2020.  Each site is following policies and recommendations from institutional and local health and safety experts. As a network, we continue to work together, in conjunction with the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute (NHLBI) to assess this situation and optimize participant and personnel health and safety.  Participant recruitment has opened at the following study sites:

California: University of California - San Francisco (not yet recruiting adolescents), and University of California - Davis
Colorado: National Jewish
Indiana: Riley Hospital for Children
Kansas: University of Kansas
Massachusetts: Boston Children's, and Brigham and Women’s Hospital
North Carolina: Wake Forest University
Ohio: Cleveland Clinic Main, and University Hospitals - Rainbow Babies and Children's Hospital
