April 16, 2019 -PrecISE Introduced to Allergy Researchers at Event for Professional Medical Providers

In February, PrecISE researchers Loren Denlinger (MD, PhD), Lisa LaVange (PhD), and Rosalind Wright (MD, MPH) led a symposium at the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology’s (AAAAI) Annual Meeting in San Francisco. The topic was precision medicine in asthma, with a focus on introducing the PrecISE network.

Precision medicine is an emerging disease treatment plan that is tailored to the patient's medical history, where they live, and other personal factors. Precision medicine will be used in the PrecISE asthma study to discover effective ways to treat people living with severe asthma, based on their type of asthma.
